C‍ity of Pasadena

The City of Pasadena recently realized approximately $18.47 million in sales proceeds from the sale of vacant single-family properties located along the SR-710 corridor pursuant to Senate Bill 959. These proceeds are available for the production of affordable housing in the City of Pasadena. Proposals will be accepted and reviewed on an ongoing basis.

Funding requirements of the SR-710 property proceeds include:

  • Project must be located within high or highest resource census tracts within the City of Pasadena, as identified by the latest edition of the California Tax Credit Allocation Committee’s opportunity maps

  • Projects must produce housing units affordable to persons and families of very low, low, and moderate income as defined in Section 50093 of the Health and Safety Code

  • Units must be available at an affordable sales price or an affordable rent, as defined in Sections 50052.5 and 50053 of the Health and Safety Code

  • All construction workers employed on the Project will be paid at least the general prevailing rate of per diem wages for the type of work and geographic area, as determined by the Director of Industrial Relations pursuant to Sections 1773 and 1773.9 of the Labor Code.
