LHTF

During the BGPRHT Board meeting on September 11, 2024, the Board approved Resolution 24-4 authorizing the Trust’s submission of a 2024 Local Housing Trust Fund (LHTF) application. On August 27, 2025, Trust staff received a notice of a full conditional LHTF Award in the amount of $5,000,000 from The California Department of Housing and Community Development (HCD). Of 37 applicants to the 2024 LHTF Notice of Funding Availability, the BGPRHT was one of four applicants to receive a full award of $5,000,000. Of the total award, $4,750,000 will be allocated to project funding and $250,000 to administering the BGPRHT’s LHTF program.
