Background
On March 13, 2025, the Trust submitted a CalHome grant application for $3,964,500 to be allocated to the First-Time Homebuyer Mortgage Assistance Program (“MA Program”). The MA Program, when awarded, will allow the Trust to assist 18 homes with down payment assistance of up to $200,000 per assisted household. In its Notice of Conditional Award Commitment Letter (“Conditional Award Commitment”), HCD granted a full award of $3,964,500 to the Trust on October 27, 2025.

Program
On January 7, 2026, the Trust adopted Resolution 26-1 to accept and incur an obligation for the CalHome Program Mortgage Assistance Program Award. An estimated $3,964,500 will be used by the Trust to assist 18 homes with down payment assistance of up to $200,000 per assisted household.
